I was fortunate to have been able to undertake two long yacht based expeditions in the Svalbard archipelago around ten years or so ago now. Although one of them resulted in the occasion I have been seasick in my life and living onboard a yacht for 3 weeks at a time has certain challenges, it remains one of the most extraordinary locations and sets of photographic experiences I have been able to visit.  True to form there are still great folders of unprocessed images from the weeks involved as I took so many images, and one day I’ll find the time to add to the highlights that I have worked on and include them here. It’s a habitat that’s changing every year so I was privileged to see it when I did.
