As an Aquarian by dint of my birthsign, I have always been attracted to and happy by, on or in the water and for many of my favourite images this has been necessary to get my favoured viewpoint of the array of species who also call water home. Of all the projects that I have worked on in my career my time spent with a family of Great Crested Grebes following their nesting through to departing with their young has been one of the most enjoyable and a true labour of love.
