I spent a lot of time photographing in Scandinavia in the early days of my professional photography: it offered a better chance to work with some extremely elusive and challenging UK species such as Eagles and Grouse, as well as guaranteed winter conditions to create images in – snow always adds a certain X factor after all.  Along with it being one of the remaining regions of Europe to see many of the larger land mammals such as Brown Bears, it’s a region that is always going to be high on my “keep going back” list.
