Costa Rica

When it comes to sheer biodiversity, there’s nowhere quite like Costa Rica. There is wildlife in various forms pretty much everywhere outside of the few large cities and developed coastal resorts, and a population that seems to appreciate and value it too. The result is that pretty much everywhere you stop or stay there is something to see and photograph – from hummingbirds in a lodge garden to frogs in the foliage as you explore the forest. Each corner of the country offers something different too – with the drama of heavy rainfall regularly thrown into the mix as well.
