The very name “Patagonia” stirs up all sorts of images and emotions whenever I hear it – visions of true wilderness, vast empty spaces dramatic landscapes and hard-fought wildlife photography opportunities.  Although I have been a number of times now I have not even made a scratch on the surface of what this region is about but in terms of encounters and experiences sitting on a beach as an Orca grabs a session pup from the sea a few metres away from you one early morning, to walking through grassland and mountains for several miles trying to keep up with a wild Puma  are experiences that will pull me back again and again. Some of the landscapes here are so breathtaking that even I can’t fail to do them justice photographically either!
