Southern Africa

I was simply blown away by the majesty of the landscapes and amazing diversity of southern Africa when I first visited there some 25 or so years ago. It’s political troubles are tragic on so many levels but have never put me off it’s strong pull at a very personal level.  Whether it is bobbing about waiting for sharks and albatross far off Cape Point, watching carefully for puff adders when exploring the Great Karoo, watching the sunset across the Zambezi after another magical day at Mana Pools or the breathtaking views when flying over a flooded Okavango delta it’s a part of the world I will always hold dear and cherish every chance to return and reconnect with place, people and wildlife.
